hand-built from walnut wood, altered to fit the bowl. Designed by

RAKU SUNFLOWER
This flower is hand-built from slabs.
Multi-layered  glazes were applied to the the
visual depth to this piece. The organic form
sculpture  very dramatic-looking.

Drayad Wood Elf Vase
This decorative vase was inspired by mystical stories and legends about
wood elves and forest spirits that were the embodiment of nature's duality.
It is hand-build using a special "sticks" technique. The leather hard clay
was impressed on a tree bark. A tree shaped vase has human features
though the vessel looks surreal. This organic beautiful vase is 10.5" tall x
3.5"in diameter. It is high fired in electric kiln and has multiple glaze
application. It is very light and totally functional.

Sea Urchin Bowl
These inspired by nature sea urchins are pinched pots. These small-sized,
irregular-shaped hand-built bowls with pointy legs look very organic though
elegant. They have beautiful blue - green finish inside with a gorgeous glassy
star relief in the bottom. The outside surface is matte: the color changes from
cream to sandy-light- brown reminding you of beach sand. One bowl has three
legs and the anther one - four. There is a surprise when you turn the bowls
upside down. They have a pretty sand dollar stamp on the bottom. High-fired
stoneware. They can be used for serving, like a sculpture for display, or perhaps
for holding treasures. Dimensions: diameter: 5” at its widest; height: 4” . Only
smaller bowl is available.

Blue Coral Bowl
This vessel is wheel-thrown and altered . It is inspired by the rich shapes
found deep under the sea.
multi-layered slips and glazing,  raku firing.
BURLAP BOWL is hand pinched which gives it a very organic look. Dark clay
coils were applied in a form of burlap adding dimension and movement as well as
organic quality to this charming bowl. It has has multiple glaze applications. The inside
surface is remenicent of green moss. The bowl is fired in electric kiln. This jar is safe in
the dishwasher, microwave and oven. Dimensions: 3.5"" tall x 8" in diameter.
This bowl is hand-pinched. The inside part was impressed on the exotic melon which I ate
later. It was sweet and delicious. :-) The was glazed with two different shino glazes which
highly emphasized textured surface. The gold -sand color inside beautifully compliments
highly textured outside surface. The bowl colors are simply stunning. This dish is high fired
in electric kiln. This bowl is food safe. It very light but strong. It can be dish washed and
microwaved too. Dimensions: 7.75" in diameter x 5.5" tall. $70
Pomegranate Bowl
This bowl is hand-pinched. The inside part was impressed on the exotic melon which I
ate later. It was sweet and delicious. :-) The was glazed with two different shino glazes
which highly emphasized textured surface. The eggplant color inside beautifully
compliments highly textured outside burgundy with blue flashes surface. The bowl colors
are simply stunning. This dish is high fired in electric kiln. This bowl is food safe. It very
light but strong. It can be dish washed and microwaved too. Dimensions: 7.75" in
diameter x 4.5" tall.
This bowl was hand built using pinching method. The pot was fired
THREE times. After the bowl was bisqued, a glaze with crystals was
third and final raku firing a special slip and a glaze were applied to the
piece on outside surface. After raku firing and smoking in the canister,
the glaze and the slip were scraped off the pot exposing beautiful black
lines created by smoke that penetrated through the crackled glaze.

Melon Stoneware Bowl
This bowl is hand-pinched. It was glazed with three different glazes which
emphasize highly textured surface. The organic melon color inside surface
beautifully contrasts with bright and bold eggplant highly textured outside
surface. This dish is high fired in electric kiln. This bowl is food safe. It can be
dish washed and microwaved too. Dimensions: 8" in diameter x 4.5" tall. . The
bowll is signed .
Blue Fire Raku Bowl
This vessel is hand pinched and heavily textured. This organic  vessel beautiful
forms. The outside black surface is a result of smoke that penetrated in a clay
body seeking for oxygen when the vessel was put in a canister with combustibles
to smoke. Multi-layered glazing was applied inside the bowl to create depth and
movement in this organic form. Raku fired.  Dimensions: 3.5" tall x 5"in
diameter.  
Elegance Raku Bottole
This bottle is thrown on the wheel. White crackle glazing and
luster paint are applied to the bottle. Raku fired.  Beautiful
deep organic crackles are contrasted by perfect geometrical
lines. Dimensions: 6.5" tall x5."in diameter.
Peackock Raku Bottle
Peacock feathers were incised and
painted with  under-glaze. White
crackle glaze was applied. Raku
fired.
